The elves in Santa's Grotto have been working extra hard this year preparing toys and gifts for all the good children to put under their Christmas trees and to pop into their Xmas stockings.
Some elves have been giving Santa's sleigh a new coat of red paint in preparation for Christmas Eve when Father Christmas delivers all the Christmas gifts with his reindeer, led of course by Rudolf with his red nose lighting the way. Each reindeer wears a collar of bells around their neck. As they fly through the winters night sky their bells jingle. If you hear the sound of jingle bells and a Ho, Ho, Ho, on December 24th it probably means that Santa is close by. You must lie very still in bed, he won't leave you any presents for naughty children. Modern houses don't have chimneys. But that's all right, it makes delivering Christmas presents less hazardous for Santa because he can't get stuck up the chimney if there isn't one! Don't worry if you don't have a chimney, Santa can still leave you gifts. Want to know how? Santa has heard the ridiculous rumours pixie dust and letterboxes, but how would he manage to push open a heavy brass letterbox when he had made himself the size of a pixie? No. Some of the cleverest elves have developed a teleporter zapper gun, in one 'ZAP' it teleporter Santa and his sacks full of presents through the roof 'ZAP' and he's in your living room. He leaves presents under the Christmas tree and puts a few small gifts into the stockings hanging by the fire. Then he has a nip of sherry and a mince pie if they have been left out for him and then 'ZAP' he's back on the roof with his sleigh and his reindeer.
